Osaka Ohsho

DSC04158

Brandon took me out to dinner last night to the new Chinese restaurant down the road: Osaka Ohsho.

You might remember our dinner at the Chinese restaurant in Jusco and our short discussion on me not being much of a fan of American-Chinese or Chinese-Chinese foods, but discovering I’m good with some Japanese-Chinese selections.  (I’m now beginning to wonder if I am, perhaps, just a really big fan of fried rice.)

Drinking Made Easy Omaha?

This one is also an old one and I hope to slowly keep up going forward.  Arielle and I have been watching Drinking Made Easy, which has been entertaining and informative to say the least.

Recently, the show put out a list for possible cities for season two and requested viewers email Zane to recommend locations they should visit.  Of course, since Omaha was a possibility I quick emailed him saying he needed to check out Upstream and a couple other locations.

Star Trek: Enterprise - Mission Complete!

This weekend we finished watching the entire series of Star Trek Enterprise.  We had started watching on it dvd a few months ago and as with all good tv shows, it was sad to see it end.  For me this was my first time for Enterprise and for Arielle she’d seen about half of the series prior to us watching it from start to finish.

Granted this may not be the best of the Star Trek series, however it was really good!  Additionally, we wish they would have made more seasons of Enterprise, but at least they did give us four seasons before not renewing the show.  Now that I have finished watching Star Trek Enterprise, I only have Star Trek Voyager and The Original Series left to watch.  Then I will have seen everything in the Star Trek Universe except most of the movies.

Mentioned on the SecurityNow Episode 280!

This one is a little old, but I never got around to making a post on our website about it.  I was mentioned on the SecurityNow podcast on the 22nd of December.  If you skip ahead to 27:00 minutes you will hear the part I tweeted Steve Gibson about.  It will last about five minutes.  I listen to this podcast every week and highly recommend it for anyone interesting in computer security.  Additionally, the problem that I tweeted Steve about has since been fixed.

Happy Pi Day!

Back in Summer Honors 2001, SHP, we in the Computer Science class even wrote a small script that ran the two weeks of Summer Honors doing nothing, but trying to see how far we could calculate Pi out to before the two weeks ended.  I do not remember how far we got, but figured since today is 3/14 I'd share:

View Pi Day and over 3,000,000 other topics on Qwiki.
