Today was a self-proclaimed Sweets Day at our house! Megumi, Hiromi, and Maki came over so we could celebrate our love of making "sweets" together by - you guessed it - making sweets! With the upcoming BBQ season on its way, we couldn't pass up these cuties!

We finally found a patio table on OYS so we can enjoy meals (and our laptops) outdoors! This post is not about that, though. :) The night we picked up our patio set, we were starving and stopped at a restaurant near Hamby Town. We thought "AnAn House of Barbeque" had a nice ring to it. Little did we know we were in for our first yakiniku experience on-island.

Last Saturday (right before the sand came), we took a drive over to the east side of the island in search of Star Wars and Transformers.

When we woke up yesterday, we thought it was surprisingly foggy outside. The thickest fog we'd ever seen on the island. We're talking Beaver Falls, PA-thick. Living on the fourth floor, we're used to being able to see quite a distance and things being brightly colored. This was the view from our balcony.
