Okinawa KFC Christmas
Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 11:12AM | 2 Comments We went native this Christmas and ordered our Christmas dinner from KFC. Yup, you read that correctly – Kentucky Fried Chicken. As Japanese don’t tend to have ovens, there is no way to make a turkey dinner, so Okinawa has adopted a chicken dinner from KFC. It’s a huge deal on this island. The orders are placed a month in advance and you schedule your desired day and time slot for pick-up. Josh and Jamie embarked upon this particular adventure with us, so Jamie and I ordered a Party Barrel and a Party Pack shortly after Thanksgiving.
