Alibaba Indian Restaurant

We've got a new favorite Saturday lunch spot in American Village!  I'd like to introduce you to Alibaba Indian Restaurant!  I don't think I'd ever tried Indian food before, thinking that it was all too spicy for my delicate palate, but I love Alibaba's lunch set!

Brandon and I both ordered the Chicken curry lunch set, although he's anxious to try out the other three types of curry they offer, as well.  The lunch set comes with a small side salad with excellent dressing.  If you know me, I am a Ranch-only type dressing girl (I am originally from PA, after all), but I have finally found another salad dressing that I like.  Shocking, I know.  :)  And of course, neither of us has any idea what it is, but we both really like it.

Mango lassi is my favorite drink option with the set.  It reminds me of a thinned mango yogurt.  The first few sips I wasn't too sure if I would like it, but it starts to grow on you.  And as an added bonus, it definitely helps cut the spice of your curry.

The delicious chicken curry comes with rice and a gigantic piece of naan bread.  I order my curry with "no spice" and it's wonderful!  I usually eat the rice with my curry first, then tear off hunks of my naan to dip into the remaining curry.  Absolutely scrumptious!  Brandon and I would both highly recommend Alibaba!  We're continuing to enjoy trying new restaurants and finding new favorites!
