My wonderful hubby Brandon's birthday is just a few days after mine. He also shares his birthday with my best friend, Joy. Now that is something to celebrate! :)
I stopped at our local Japanese bakery and picked up a beautiful white cake for Brandon. They even did a beautiful "Happy Birthday, Brandon" inscription in hiragana and katakana on a shortbread cookie to make the cake even more special!
After unwrapping his gifts, my sweet husband spent the majority of the evening like this:
On his new iPad. Yes, he had unwrapped some Star Wars presents, lots of chocolate, some tees, and even some new Transformers, but now he has joined the ranks of the iPad users. I imagine I'll see him again sometime next week. :)
Overall, a very successful birthday!
