On our way to Ikebukuro to meet up with the Tomita family for lunch, Brandon and I stopped by Nakano’s Broadway shopping place to see if their action figure shop happened to be open.
Nakano Broadway is an indoor shopping center with floors and floors of stores.
Our store wasn’t open until afternoon, but it was fun to walk around a bit.
On our way back to the Metro Station, we came across these girls dressed up in costume, out for a stroll.
We had a wonderful lunch buffet at the Prince Hotel in Ikebukuro! It was so nice to get to see the Tomitas again! And we got to meet the newest addition to Sakurako’s family – baby Kouki! (I got to carry him around a bit while he slept – too cute!)
(From L to R: Shinta, Mom Tomita, little Iori, me, Brandon, Sakurako, baby Kouki, and Kanji)
Shinta had to go to work after lunch, but the rest of us went up to the Sunshine City observatory. Adorable Iori has grown so fast since we saw her last year! She was happy to hold Brandon’s hand and direct him around the observatory floor.
Grandma Tomita and little Iori – love, love!
We went up to the roof to get a good look at Ikebukuro.
Brandon took a panorama shot with his new digital camera.
I sure do love Tokyo!
We had a wonderful time visiting with the Tomita Family! Good food, wonderful friends, and a very fun afternoon!
