Sunday afternoon, our Torii Chapel had Family Appreciation Day at Round 1.  Round 1 is an indoor amusement place with three floors of fun!  The top floor is dedicated to open-air area dedicated to sports: batting cages, badminton court, mini soccer field, miniature golf, etc.  Brandon tried his hand at some archery before we wandered down to the next floor, where we played a game of pool…

and several arcade games including a taiko drumming game, a car racing game (one is my limit before it makes me too queasy to enjoy the rest of the afternoon), a Rambo “shoot-em-up” game, and Dance Dance Revolution.

There were so many other options of things to do, I can understand why this is a favorite spot for people to bring their kids when it’s raining outside.  Our only disappointment was the largest American size of Rollerblades they had for the indoor roller rink was Size 12.  There was NO WAY Brandon’s Size 15 was going to cram into them.  We had a good laugh at the roller attendant’s face when we showed him the size of Brandon’s shoe, though.

It was fun to get out and just play together for the afternoon!
